Biography
Michael Hamersky is the Climate Change and Land Use Policy Fellow at Pace Law School, where he focuses on environmental and energy law. His work spans issues such as ocean ecosystem protection, renewable energy incentives under the Inflation Reduction Act, and integrating circular economy principles into Navajo Nation’s energy policies.
A Clean Energy Land Use Scholar, Michael proposed updates to New York's Battery Energy Storage System and Wind Energy Model Laws for NYSERDA. An adjunct professor at Fordham Law, he has been named a "Rising Star" in Top Attorneys by the New York Times Magazine.
